Specialised Vehicles
As freight forwarders, we are not restricted by the number of vehicles owned by any particular transport company. Thanks to our long established relations with many Polish hauliers we have a large quantity of modern, driver accompanied vehicles at our disposal in both England and Poland every day.
They range from small dedicated 1,500kg express vans, through medium sized 3.5 and 6 tonners, up to large 24 tonne articulated lorries, stepframes, mega and 116cbm high capacity road trains. A large part of these units comply with the highest EU “Euro 5” emission standards.
The majority of vehicles at our disposal are equipped with GPS satellite monitoring systems, which allow us to provide real-time movement updates.
ARTICULATED LORRIES
Apart from the standard 13.6M tilt trailers (articulated lorries) with 24,000kg payload, internal dims. 13.6 x 2.48 x 2.70M (91cbm capacity), which can take up to 33 europallets), we have the following units at our disposal :
- mega trailers with internal dimensions: 13.60 x 2.50 x 3.00M (101cbm), max payload 24T.
- road trains with two compartments, internal dimensions each: 7.80 x 2.48 x 3.00M (116cbm), which can take 38 non stackable europallets up to 24T.
MEDIUM SIZED VEHICLES
- 3.5 tonners with internal dimensions 6.20 x 2.45 x 2.37M that can take up to 15 europallets.
- 6 tonners with internal dimensions 8.20 x 2.45 x 2.45M that can take up to 20 europallets. They can be arranged with 1-2 days notice.
EXPRESS VANS
Pan – European movements of 1,500kg sprinter vans are not as yet restricted by somewhat prohibitive EU regulations. Two drivers can travel (one driving one resting) non-stop, between the United Kingdom and Poland , thus reducing overall door-door transit time between, say, London and Warsaw, down to approximately 24 hours. Their internal dimensions are : 4.20 x 2.30 x 2.20M (tilt van, which can take up to 8 europallets) and 3.60 x 1.65/1.37 x 1.70M respectively for a rigid box, which can take up to 5 europallets. The notice required for express vans is between 2 and 4 hours subject to loading point.
